Hitting a Snag..

Well, I went to the coast for the weekend. Got a little bit of writing done Friday, but on Saturday, we left the hotel at 9:00 am and got back around three, and stayed for about three hours, only to go out to dinner at a nice Italian restaurant that was billed as 'romantic'.

Well, the food was awesome. The service and ambiance...not so much. We had a reservation, and the hostess took seemingly FOREVER to finally acknowledge us. So very annoying to see where you're going to be seated but not actually seated there.

Romantic? Well, romantic and 'family restaurant' don't really go together. Food was good though.

After that, we went to the casino. It was busy, so I hung around the edges of the casino floor rather than sitting next to my husband. Two hours later, I was able to drag him out. We didn't get home until after midnight, and then we stayed up until about one, so I didn't do any writing yesterday.

*Shrug* I'll try to make up for it today....
